About our school

Fairfield Preparatory Academy is a tuition-free public charter school serving students in grades K(EE) through 8 in Hamilton, Ohio. Ohio grades every school on its annual State Report Card, and Fairfield Prep earned a 4-Star Gap Closing rating for the 2024–25 school year — meaning the state independently confirmed that this school is closing the achievement gap for students who arrived behind. The school ranks #1 among charter schools in Butler County and scores in the top 15% of all Ohio charter schools statewide.

Fairfield Prep is built around a sports-integrated model. Athletics aren't enrichment extras that get squeezed in after the bell. They're woven into the academic school day. Community School

Fairfield Preparatory Academy is a public, community school. We are our own school district sponsored by Ohio Council of Community Schools which provides oversight and enforces academic, fiscal, and legal accountability. We are managed by ACCEL Schools, a high performing network of over 50 charter schools located throughout the United States.
